How It All Began
In the fall of 2002, I visited several $1,000,000+ homes during the Parade of Homes, a few of which had home theaters. One in particular had a very elaborate private screening room. Since this theater was in a $3,000,000 home, I drew the obvious conclusion that I couldn't afford a home theater. Fortunately, that wasn't enough to kill my curiosity. Thus began my study and research into the art of home theater.
Approximately 18 months later, I started construction on my theater. I built a front projection screening room with several of the luxuries found in many high-end home theaters. One aspect that I pride myself on is that I built the theater on an unusually low budget. My experience in this area is a huge advantage for those that are economically minded.
In the beginning of 2006, I joined the Audio/Video Ministry at my church. I had a strong desire to get involved in the ministry, so I felt that A/V would be the best use of my talent. I started out with cameras, and eventually became the head sound technician running a 56 channel sound board. Being a part of the ministry has been a valuable use of my time; not only in serving the Lord, but learning about A/V outside the home theater world.
What began as a quest into a personal interest has become a passion to design a masterpiece.
